Fjucking Good Music.
A blog dedicated to the music of Scandinavia!Sunrise | Alexandra Joner (f/ Madcon)
It’s well known around these parts that I LOVE Madcon. I was really excited that they are featured on this song, which is a great summer tune. This is an awesome debut for Alexandra and I’m excited to see what else she comes out with in the future!

DO IT! It’s him! He’s incredible!
I love their version. I love these norwegians. :))
The mere presence of Sondre Lerche and Yusef in this video has me Losing. My. Mind.

I can think of a couple of immediate examples of the version of a song appearing on an EP being SUBSTANTIALLY superior than the “better” version that was re-recorded for the full length album.
#1 is “Norwegian Pop” by Bedroom Eyes which is, in my opinion, damn near a PERFECT pop song.
I think sometimes you lose the passion when you re-record something and try to get glossier with it. I mean, a LOT of the time it works, the demo gets the kinks out and the album version perfects it. But not always.
What examples come to mind for you?
